Philosophy

Mitsubishi Engineering-Plastics (MEP) understands the importance of environmental protection so that we may pass on a rich and healthy natural environment to future generations. As a leading engineering plastics manufacturer, we pledge to reduce the environmental burden of our operations and prevent pollution to protect the environment and provide products and services that are acceptable to our customers and society.

Principles

1.	MEP is environmentally aware and applies its knowledge and understanding in all aspects of its daily business activities. We have also created an environmental management system that helps us to improve continuously.
2.	In line with our environmental philosophy, we have formulated the following guidelines for environmental preservation: * Develop products that contribute to environmental preservation. * Conserve resources and energy. * Eliminate waste.
3.	Each section of MEP sets concrete environmental goals and strives tirelessly toward their achievement.
4.	MEP sets and adheres to its own stringent management standards, as well as following public environmental regulations, ordinances and other rules dictated by its customers and the communities in which it operates.
5.	MEP's "Philosophy and Principles for the Environment" must be understood completely by all employees.
6.	MEP pledges open disclosure of its "Philosophy and Principles for the Environment" and information related to the environmental performance of its products and to maintain open lines of communication with society.
