Solar cell junction box compatible grade "Iupiace®AN70"

Modified-Polyphenylene ether resin Iupiace® has well-balanced electrical properties, flame resistance, heat resistance, dimension stability, and moldability. Therefore, it is used as a structural material under a wide variety of fields where those conditions are required.
 "Iupiace®AN70" for solar cell junction boxes, preserves m-PPE’s conventional features, but this grade can be used under an exacting requirement which has become necessary in recent years.


  •  ・UL-approved tracking resistance, CTI class=2 is achieved in jet-black color.
    • Conventional m-PPE materials have difficulty to achieve CTI class=2 in jet-black color, with physicals for junction box environment. AN70 has succeeded to achieve CTI class=2 in jet-black color.
  •  ・Exhibit high impact strength under a low temperature region.
    • To meet requirements of junction box's low temperature impact testing standard, high impact strength is required, even in a low temperature region.

Iupiace® adapted integrated system of production from raw material to finished product, so high quality product can be stably-provided.
 AN70 production and delivery systems are being organized in Japan and China. Delivering from junction box production base neighborhood is possible.
